The Hilo couple was charged with attempted distribution of methamphetamine and firearms offenses

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A Hilo couple has been charged with attempted distribution of methamphetamine and firearms offenses, Hawaii Island police officers said.

Police say officers arrested Alan Dias, 58, and Marisa Garcia, 31, at a residence on Kino’ole Street.

HPD says they found over 50 grams of meth, a pair of guns and over $1,000 in cash.

Dias’ bail is set at $260,000, while Garcia’s is $190,000, police said.

They are due back in court on Wednesday.
