The result of Gunther vs. Randy Orton

Gunther retained his title in impressive fashion in Berlin.

General Ring defeated Randy Orton at WWE Bash in Berlina rematch of the 2024 King Of The Ring Finals. The match saw Orton hit an RKO and put Gunther through a commentary table, but Gunther eventually won by making Orton pass out in a bedroom.

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Gunther (c) vs. Randy Orton

Orton and Gunther trade headlock takedowns. No man can get an early advantage. The crowd is electric as both men turn on each other, trying to figure out what to try next. Gunther works the choke. Orton forces a break by shoving Gunther into the corner. Orton plays to the crowd as Gunther scowls. Gunther lands a chop. Orton clutches his chest. Gunther lands another chop that sends Orton to the mat. Gunther works at Orton.

Orton and Gunther trade strikes. Gunther drops Orton with a chop that sounds like a shotgun blast. Orton leaves the ring. Gunther follows and chokes Orton using the ring post. Gunther tries to send Orton into the steps, but Orton reverses. Orton sends Gunther into the steps for a second time. He focuses his attack on Gunther’s shoulder. Orton suplexes Gunther onto the commentary desk four times, shoulder first. Gunther tries an empty back choke. Orton turns him into a shoulder breaker.

Gunther lands a chop but injures his arm in the process. ArmDT by Orton. Gunther kicks out at one. Orton works over Gunther. Gunther lands a series of clotheslines. Orton blocks the last one and hits one of his own. Powerslam by Orton. Gunther kicks out. Orton sets up the DDT. Gunther stuns Orton with the top rope. Gunther climbed up. Orton interrupts Gunther. Superplex by Orton. Gunther and Orton trade strikes. Orton pokes Gunther in the eye and smiles at the crowd.

Closing moments

Draping DDT by Orton. Orton calls for the RKO. Gunther counters the RKO with a german suplex. Shotgun dropkick by Gunther. Gunther climbed up. Big splash by Gunther. Orton kicks out. Gunther tries a powerbomb but his arm gives out. Lariat by Gunther. Gunther tries the powerbomb again but still can’t get Orton off the mat. Orton lifts Gunther onto his back. Gunther powers down and finally hits the powerbomb. Orton kicks out at two.

Gunther tries another bomb. Orton counters with an RKO! Gunther kicks out at 2.9! Orton sets up the ring steps next to the commentary desk. Gunther attacks from behind. Orton suplexes Gunther onto the steel ring steps. Orton slams Gunther’s head into the ring steps repeatedly. Gunther stumbled. Orton suplexes Gunther down the steps through the commentary desk. Orton asks for the RKO again. Gunther shoves Orton.

Empty back choke by Gunther. Orton struggles. He tries to break the hold, but Gunther resists. Orton almost turns the choke into an RKO, but Gunther levels him with an elbow to the back of the head. Gunther goes back to the choke. Orton lifts Gunther onto his back and falls to the mat, breaking the hold. Before Orton can recover, Gunther stands up and locks in another choke. Orton passes out.

Winner and still World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther!

After the match, Gunther gives Orton a handshake. Orton accepts. Gunther is celebrating.
