OXFORD, Miss. – Fans can get their first look at the 2024-25 Ole Miss men’s basketball team before the regular season begins as the team welcomes Illinois for a charity exhibition game on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. in SJB Pavilion.

Tickets will be $20 for general admission seating, excluding upstairs seating. All proceeds from sales will benefit CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of North Mississippi, which helps advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children involved in proceedings through the juvenile courts. The parking lot will be open.

All Ole Miss students can attend for free with a valid student ID.

A 20-win team over the last five consecutive seasons, Illinois is one of the top college basketball programs in the country. The Fighting Illini won 29 games last season, reaching the Elite Eight of the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

Anticipation is building for the Ole Miss men’s basketball team as it heads into its second season under head coach Chris Beard. The Rebels return six players from last year, including three starters, while adding six transfers and four first-year student-athletes.
