Storm, high winds cause damage at Quapaw Public Schools – Newstalk KZRG

Quapaw Public Schools reports on Facebook that public schools school and community was hit with a severe storm with winds over 85 mph Friday evening.

“There is considerable damage at the elementary school and in the community,” a posting from the school system reads.

“With no electricity, we will be evaluating the damage. . . and begin the cleanup process,” the posting concludes.

All Saturday activities at the school system have been cancelled.
