Storm, strong winds cause damage at Quapaw Public Schools – Newstalk KZRG

Quapaw Public Schools reports on Facebook that public schools and the community were hit by a severe storm with winds in excess of 85 mph Friday night.

“There is extensive damage at the elementary school and in the community,” a post from the school system said.

“Without power, we will assess the damage. . . and start the cleaning process,” the post concludes.

All Saturday activities in the school system have been cancelled.
