The restaurant in the area of St. Louis won’t let anyone under 30 eat there

A restaurant in the area of St. Louis is trying something I’ve never heard of before, but I understand why they’re doing it. They won’t allow anyone under 30 to enter or eat there, stressing that it’s an adults-only place.

This is an interesting story shared by KSDK from St. Louis about Bliss Restaurant located at 11836 West Florissant Ave in Florissant, Missouri. The owner will not allow access to persons under 30 years of age as he said the younger crowd brings unwanted “drama” and he wants a place where adults are comfortable.

The owner and staff say most of the responses have been positive, but the reviews on Yelp don’t seem to be favorable so far. It’s an extremely small sample of only 3 reviews, but some like the adults-only vibe, while others don’t seem to be fans.

I don’t get to St. Louis so often these days and when I stop for food in the area it has to be family friendly as I have kids. But, I understand why this owner is trying to provide an alternative to places where the younger crowd can bring unwanted emotions. I respect him for at least trying something new. Time will tell if it turns into a wise business decision or not.
