Statesboro man, 21, accused of molesting 14-year-old girl

A 21-year-old Statesboro man was arrested on suspicion of having sex with a 14-year-old girl, and the teenager also faces charges, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division was notified on July 12 of a sexual relationship between the man and the girl, Sheriff Lynn Anderson said in a news release issued Tuesday. Sheriff’s Investigator Walter Deal opened a case and determined the sexual contact took place at a home in the 300 block of Lanier Drive over several months, Anderson said.
