Willy Adames picked up his 10th straight loss for the Chicago White Sox

The Milwaukee Brewers handed the Chicago White Sox their 10th straight loss thanks to a shutout in extra innings. Willy Adames homered on two separate occasions while tying the game in the seventh inning and delivering the go-ahead hit in the 10th.

Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Garrett Crochet was shut out through the first six innings of this game as he gave up just one run, five hits and struck out eight. He was removed after throwing 103 pitches and his team had a 3-1 lead. The Brewers went on to tie the game against Justin Anderson after a trio of walks from Brice Turang, William Contreras and Christian Yelich loaded the bases. With two outs, Willy Adames then tied the game with an RBI single.

The Milwaukee Brewers won 4-3 thanks to a hit by Willy Adames.

In the 10th inning, the White Sox started by intentionally walking Christian Yelich. Yelich and William Contreras (automatic baseman at second base) then advanced 90 feet on a wild pitch. On a two-out count, Willy Adames then proceeded to end the game with an infield single.

The Chicago White Sox have now lost 10 straight games.

Already holding a 15-44 league record, the White Sox are also on a 10-game losing streak. They were outscored 63-28 in that span and were swept by the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays. If their losing streak reaches 11 games, the Milwaukee Brewers will also join the list.
